Currently, many of today’s ethnic cuisines have very popular variety of dressings from honey, for example, dressings for fish dishes, poultry and meat broths. Here we give you some easy recipes with honey.
Dressing (stewed fruit) cranberry-honey
Squeeze the juice from 500 g cranberries, add a half cup of honey and boil until thick. Add pepper.
Served with venison and grilled poultry, fish.
Pomace from cranberries can be used to prepare jelly.
2 cups of fruit juice and 2 cups of honey.
Grind berries, filter, not squeezed or peeled fruit put in a bowl, without adding water, boil in its own juice.
When the berries burst with not squeezing them, decant through a sieve, then strain through a canvas and cook with honey.
This jelly can be served with roast.
Rosehip dressing with honey
Remove seeds and hairs from 500 g of hip, pour 1.5 cups of water, cook until berries soften, rub together with broth, add 1/4 cup of honey, ground pepper, 3% vinegar and salt, and mix well.
Serve with roast poultry.
Honey and lemon dressing
You mix (preferably with a mixer) 1/2 cup of lemon juice, 1/2 cup of honey, 1/3 cup of warm water and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
Add 1 teaspoon of butter and serve with roast.
Honey dressing with lemon and mint
1 cup of honey mix with 1 cup of lemon juice, add 3 tbsp. tablespoons of warm water, mix thoroughly and put for 5 minutes on the fire, add 1 tbsp. of chopped dried mint.
Serve warm with meat dishes by adding 1 teaspoon of butter.
Apple dressing with honey
Peel 500 g of apples and cut them into slices. Put 1/4 cup of honey, add 1/2 cup water, the juice of 1 lemon, 2-3 clove buds in a pan, bring to a boil. Then, add the apples and cook until soften and rub through a sieve.
Serve with roast pork or chicken.
Honey dressing with tomatoes
Tomatoes in juice (500 g), chopped clove of garlic, 2 chopped onions, chopped bell pepper mix thoroughly (preferably with a mixer) and cook, cover for 5-7 minutes.
Serve with roast.
Cream dressing with honey
Mix 500 g of sour cream, 1/4 cup of honey, juice of 1 lemon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground red pepper and salt. Bring to a boil and cool.
Serve with roast pork, lamb.
Mustard with Honey
Mix mustard, honey, a little sunflower oil, vinegar and black pepper. Stir.
Honey mustard tastes good and is well kept.
